Geotechnical Testing Services, Inc. (GTS) was founded in March 1995 by the late Company President, Mr. Steven V. Grimaldi. In August of 2022, GTS was updated under the new ownership of TRI Environmental, Inc. (TRI), a global testing and materials science company with testing and service centers located throughout the USA, in Australia, India, China, Brazil and South Africa.
GTS, located in Pennsylvania, operates a world-class, independent, third-party, AASHTO accredited geotechnical laboratory, supported by extended and redundant geotechnical testing facilities in Austin, Texas. GTS is unassociated with any manufacturing, engineering/consulting or construction company, thus establishing the independence of all staff and test results generated. GTS works in non-competitive concert with our clients and assists them in achieving success.
